Gabriel Burrafato has performed starring roles on Broadway, Las Vegas and National Tours across North America. He began his career as an apprentice at the prestigious Shaw Festival. He has studied voice at the Royal Conservatory of Music and has worked with internationally renowned composers A.R. Rahman (two time academy award winner for “Slum Dog Millionaire”) and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, as well as many of the top musical directors of Broadway and the Music Recording industry.

Most recently, Gabriel starred as Lancelot in the Broadway National Touring production of Camelot. He has also had the honor of originating the role of the elf archer Legolas in the world premier of The Lord of The Rings. This $27-million show is the world's most expensive and elaborate staged production ever made. Other favorite roles include Magaldi in the U.S. national tour of Evita (25th Anniversary Harold Prince Revival). Gabriel made his Broadway debut in Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's Bombay Dreams, where he performed the role of Vikram. Other favorite roles include Beast in Beauty and The Beast, Enjoras in Les Miserable, Annas in Jesus Christ Superstar and Pharaoh in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Gabriel also performed the role of Lun Tha in the Stratford Festival's production of The King and I.

Gabriel is currently featured in the biggest Las Vegas production to hit the strip in 20 years called "Vegas! The Show" vegastheshow.com. He is also busy working on an exciting project with EMI Music, creators of the world famous "Celtic Women". They have chosen Gabriel to be a part of a new group called "BELLARIA”, a celebration of Italian-American music. It will be debuting on PBS this fall.
